Work. Classes. Buses. Trains. Meetings. Clients. Phone-calls. And e-mails.
I have been busy for a while, and this relentless rhythm suffocates my passion, drains my energy, and blinds my hopes.
I woke up this morning with a to-do list twice as long as the one from yesterday.
The bell rang. I didn’t run to reply. Instead, I drag my steps to the door.
I welcomed the package with unceremonious apathy until I saw the name in the sender’s label. And the country of origin: Thailand
I couldn’t stop smiling while tearing the package, the paper felt at my feet, and in my hands, I had an elephant. A Thai blue elephant that has renewed my energies and awakened my spirit.
