May 1st, 2019

Today, May 1st 2019, Reiwa, the new Japanese era has started. Today, there’s enthusiasm in the air, and I wanted to be part of it. So, I took my camera and made my way into the main districts.

At times, I found subtle silence and others, excited crowds looking for magic.

In my little stroll around the city, I also found silent and traditional beauty

Some older than others.

But all accompanying us in this new era.
