It was a sunny warm day, a perfect day to meet a friend. We met at an old train station and made our way into Chinatown or Chūkagai (中華街) as it’s known in Japan.

As time passed, we felt the urge of a snack and lucky us, Chinatown is not only known for its beautiful architecture but its cuisine as well. And even the simplest of meals is not only a treat for your palette but the eyes, too. A delightful piece of heaven wrapped in red — the colour of Chinatown.
